We Are All Growing!

Student of the Week.

Congratulations to you Hayden for being our student of the week.  Hayden has become a true fearless writer as seen by his wonderful narrative called "Lost".

We are growing fast!

We measured our growth this week, and as you see the children have been making lots of growth, not just physically, but also as little learners.

This week I have continued my individual assessments of the children.

All the children are very keen to have their turn to show me all that they know, and so they should.  I have been thrilled at the wonderful growth that they have all made.

Here is Gracie showing you all how I assessed her reading.

Sport

Sport with Mrs Krake consists mainly of games.  We focus on following the rules, playing fairly, being
co-operative and inclusive.

Here the children are playing 'Stuck in the Mud'.

Ask your child how we play this game at school.

We learnt how to play 'Tunnel Ball' this week.

This took a bit of practice to get right.

Once we all got the hang of it we all had great fun.

Ask your child about this game.

Another favorite is 'Everybody is It'.

Ask your child how we play this game too.

Maths

We have continued to work on our skill to sequence random numbers from 1 to 15.

This week in 'Racing Rockets' the children had to write their numbers on the rockets.

Look at how well they did in this activity.

Well-done everybody!

Zara here is proud of her very clever work where she had to filled in the number grid.
